University Files for Chapter 11

Lambuth University has reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. According to reports, the Tennessee school filed as one of the steps that will lead to a transfer of the school to the Tennessee Board of Regents. The school reportedly started facing financial problems in 2009. The school allegedly has about $10 million in debt.
