A Burnsville City Council member in Minnesota has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy after his transportation company went out of business. Reportedly, Dan Gustafson owes $1.2 million to various creditors. Gustafson states that the filing is economy-related, but will have no bearing on his ability to hold office.
