Rosecroft Raceway Lawsuit in Bankruptcy Court

Rosecroft Raceway is taking their lawsuit against Maryland's horse-racing industry to bankruptcy court. The owner of Rosecroft is claiming that the Maryland Jockey Club and other defendants drove the track out of business by encouraging tracks to turn off simulcasting signals that allowed Rosecroft to air off-site races. Simulcasting was Rosecroft's only source of income as it has not been able to afford live racing.             

Anyone at anytime can find themselves needing to file for bankruptcy, whether personal bankruptcy or as a company.
