I have been practicing in the Bankruptcy Courts in Washington State for the past 16 years. I handle both Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 cases. One of the great features of our firm is that we are able to gather the majority of the information we need for filing electronically. This saves our clients from having to fill out reams of paperwork in order for the filing to take place. Bankruptcy can be a rather difficult time in a person's life and as an office we strive to work with our clients to make the process as smooth as possible. I also work with clients to help them through their fears of the process. Since the bankruptcy laws changed in 2005, there are a lot of rumors and horror stories circulating regarding whether you can file at all and the effect of bankruptcy. I help clients understand what is going on and how it will affect them.
