Peter J.W. Brackney

Peter J. W. Brackney was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1983. He was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 2009 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics in 2006 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2009. During law school, he twice represented the University of Kentucky at the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City, served as a volunteer income tax preparer and was Vice-Justice of the Clay Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.
Mr. Brackney was a law clerk for Bunch & Brock from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Brackney is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, and the Fayette County Bar Association. Mr. Brackney concentrates his practice in consumer and commercial bankruptcy.
